Creativity Studio
Creativity Studio is a rich arts environment that encourages fearless creativity, creative problem-solving, and risk-taking as children of all ages explore a wide range of art disciplines with STEAM relationships to both processes and products. The physical space and offered experiences are designed to foster creative artistic expression and inventive thinking. Children are encouraged to focus on the open-ended process of creating art and problem-solving instead of the final product.
How adults Can support Discovery, Creativity, Exploration, and play in Creativity Studios

Ask open-ended questions like “Tell me about what you made” rather than assuming what the child created.

Emphasize that there are no right or wrong answers in art!

Demonstrate various artistic techniques and then encourage children to try them independently!
After completing a project, ask them to reflect on what they learned, what challenges they faced, and how they overcame them -
When you can, use art to discuss different cultures and histories!
